When travelling from
Melbourne it is easier to drive along the A1 to Bairnsdale,
travel through Bairnsdale to Bruthen and take a left up the
Great Alpine Road. On your way you will pass through Ensay,
Swifts Creek and then on to Omeo. When arriving in Omeo do
not turn at all and you will end up at the office of the
Omeo Caravan Park.
If coming up over Mount
Hotham through Bright you will continue on through the
township of Omeo and then take a left turn into the Old Omeo
Highway and once again end up at the office of the Omeo
Caravan Park.
If you have been
travelling and come on down from the north of Omeo either
along the Mitta Mitta or Corryong Roads, you will come into
Omeo past the Hilltop Hotel and take the next main road to
your right, the Old Omeo Highway.
